Winchester Continues its Commitment to Conservation and the NWTF
Winchester Ammunition has stood shoulder-to-shoulder with the National Wild Turkey Federation (NWTF) since the organization was founded in 1973, sharing a deep passion for conservation of wildlife and habitat, and preserving America's hunting heritage. The Winchester-NWTF alignment goes well beyond funding: Winchester played a key role in establishing the Winchester Museum at the NWTF's Hunting Heritage Center in Edgefield, South Carolina—the only museum in the world dedicated to wild turkey restoration, management, and hunting. Through interactive exhibits, historic turkey calls, and educational displays, it tells the remarkable comeback story of this iconic game bird.
