Winchester Offering Extreme Point Bullet Technology in Select Varmint X Calibers
EAST ALTON, IL (January 24, 2024) — Winchester Ammunition is offering several popular Varmint X calibers and one new caliber using Extreme Point bullets. Predator and varmint hunters can find Varmint X with Extreme Point bullets in 243 Winchester, 22-250 Rem, 223 Rem, and new for 2024, 6.5 Creedmoor. All current calibers in the Varmint X line will still be available without Extreme Point bullets.
The Extreme Point bullet features a proprietary technology from Winchester that utilizes a large polymer tip with an impact diameter more than double that of conventional polymer tipped bullets. The enhanced polymer tip impact diameter results in rapid expansion and enormous stopping power, while offering exceptional accuracy.
Varmint X is designed specifically for the demands of predator and varmint hunters and is the ammunition of choice for pursuing everything from prairie dogs to coyotes.
