Herb Parsons – Winchester’s “Showman Shooter” by Ron Spomer
For 30 years, Herb Parsons was Winchester's "Showman Shooter". His signature feat was throwing by hand and individually breaking seven clay targets with a Winchester Model 12, 12 gauge pump action shotgun.
Pretty darn great! Matter of fact, Mr. Parsons was the behind-the-scenes shot maker and technical advisor for Jimmy Stewart’s 1950 movie – “The Winchester 73”. Come along on this Winchester 150th Anniversary video to learn more.
