Knock-Knock – Don’t Forget Your Hunting Sweetie on Valentine’s Day
Hunting for the perfect Valentine’s Day gift is no easy feat. If you’re like me, you may find candle light dinners a bit cliche and prefer to have dinner by the light of a campfire.
To help ease the feat of finding that perfect way to show your love and affection for that special someone this Valentine’s Day, I’ve created a sportsman-friendly gift guide. I think you’ll find the ideas below are sure to pair well with your Valentine’s Day plans…especially if those plans include target practice in the days to come.
A Dozen Arrows. Roses can be pricey this time of year and although they are pretty they end up wilting in a week. This year think about swapping out roses for a dozen arrows. They are certain to bring enjoyment to you and yours for many days to come.
Bullet Jewelry. Jewelry made from bullets is becoming increasingly popular. Not only is it beautiful, it is also a great conversation starter. I am a sucker for sentimental gifts, so you could kick your gift giving skills up a notch and get a custom piece made for that special someone using a bullet from a memorable hunt. To really personalize it, have the jewelry engraved to include the date of the hunt, his/her initials, etc.
Ammunition. Spring is just around the corner which means spring turkey season will be here soon! What better way to make sure you are geared up for the season than to surprise your loved one with a box or two of Winchester Long Beard XR. Too, it is now available in 20 so add a box or two of that in as well.
Cupid Cupcakes. It’s not really a Valentine’s Day celebration if you don’t have dessert! Cupcakes are quick and easy to make. Luckily, cupid uses a bow so it is easy to find arrow decorated toothpicks in most stores!
