Buffalo Bill’s Daughter Irma Was a Shooter Too: Here is Her Winchester Rifle by Ron Spomer and Ashley Hlebinsky
Buffalo Bill Cody founded Cody, WY. When you visit this Old West town, you'll see the Irma Hotel on main street.
The “Irma” that this hotel is named after is none other than Irma Cody – daughter of Buffalo Bill. This model 1894 Winchester rifle is a great shooting gun, and you can tell that this rifle had been shot a lot by Irma. This is just a small part of the history of firearms you will see at the Cody Firearms Museum in beautiful Cody, WY. If you’re out that way this summer…be certain to stop by.
